Experience

I studied Middle Eastern and North African studies for my bachelor's degree and my masters degree at the University of Michigan. I've been substitute teaching since 2014, and I've had the opportunity to teach social studies, English, science, math, and other topics. I've also been able to work with students who are bilingual in English and Arabic. My favorite subjects to tutor are foreign languages and history. I like to present material in a comprehensive and interesting way so that students are engaged while they develop a solid understanding. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in French, German, Arabic, Hebrew, English, history, algebra, geography, and elementary and middle school level math. When I have free time, I enjoy studying languages, reading, and spending time with family.
